Capitol Alumni Network organizes one of the largest alumni softball leagues in the DC area, bringing alumni clubs together through competition, connection, friendship, and tradition.

Welcome to CAN

CAN is proud to organize co-ed alumni softball from April through August, including regular season games, community connections, and the annual August tournament.

Regular Season

Teams compete in regular season games against rivals, division opponents, and alumni clubs from across the DC area.

Annual Tournament

CAN’s marquee sporting event is the annual softball tournament held each August, bringing together alumni clubs, players, families, and fans.

Community

The league helps create networking opportunities, friendships, school pride, and connections that extend beyond universities.

New to CAN Softball or don’t currently have a team? Join the free agent pool. We can’t guarantee placement, but we do our best to connect players with teams during the season.
