CAN Softball Gives Back
CAN is more than a softball league. We use our alumni community to support youth sports, volunteer opportunities, local service projects, and meaningful connections across DC.
YBA PLAY
CAN has been working with the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy to support YBA PLAY, a free clinic-based program for youth ages 5–12 that introduces kids to baseball while promoting leadership, teamwork, nutrition, and healthy social habits.
How CAN Supports YBA PLAY
Volunteers help support youth athletes while giving CAN players a meaningful way to connect with the broader DC community.
Volunteer Coaching
CAN players help coach and mentor young athletes during YBA PLAY sessions.
Youth Development
Volunteers support programming focused on teamwork, leadership, confidence, and physical activity.
Community Connection
CAN builds stronger ties with youth sports programs and community builders across DC.
